G20 YEA Representatives Visit the Beijing Central Axis

On the afternoon of April 7, 2025, representatives from the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance (G20 YEA) visited the Beijing Central Axis and Dongcheng District. The G20 YEA, as a key platform of G20 for promoting global innovation and industrial cooperation, comprises leading young entrepreneurs' associations and organizations from G20 countries that represent over 85% of the world's GDP. The Alliance serves as a pioneering force driving economic recovery, technological innovation, and social transformation.

Around thirty young entrepreneurs from about ten different countries and organizations visited the northern end of the Beijing Central Axis, including the Drum and Bell Towers and the Hong'en Temple, a demonstration site for cultural heritage revitalization. Mr. Chen Xiansen, Mayor of Dongcheng District, Mr. Wang Zhiyong, Deputy Mayor of Dongcheng District, and Mr. Mei Song, Vice President and Secretary General of the Beijing Central Axis Protection Foundation, welcomed the entrepreneurs at Hong'en Temple.

Mr. Chen stated that Dongcheng District, as a cultural heart and a pivotal hub for openness and innovation in Beijing, sees the G20 YEA as a strategic platform for connecting international resources and fostering in-depth collaboration with young entrepreneurs worldwide across technology, capital, and market development.

During the visit, the Beijing Central Axis Protection Foundation invited the participants to leave messages on a commemorative scroll. This 7.8-meter-long scroll begins with a seal inscribed "Beijing Central Axis," in a style that fuses traditional Chinese seals with the distinctive seal art of the Qin dynasty. It is followed by fifteen stamps, each representing an iconic heritage site along the Central Axis, accompanied by bilingual (Chinese and English) descriptions. The young entrepreneurs wrote messages of goodwill and support for the Beijing Central Axis in their native languages. This meaningful scroll will be displayed in a future Beijing Central Axis Museum.
