Main responsibilities

In accordance with the statutes of the Foundation, the Board of Directors shall exercise the following powers and functions:

1. Formulate and amend the statutes;

2. Elect and remove the President, Vice President and Secretary-General;

3. Decide on plans for major activities, including raising, management and use of funds;

4. Examine and approve annual revenue and expenditure budgets and final accounting;

5. Lay down internal management regulations;

6. Decide on the establishment of offices, branches and representative offices;

7. Decide on the separation, merger or termination of the Foundation;

8. Decide on the appointment of Deputy Secretary-General, Chief Financial Officer and heads of all departments nominated by the Secretary-General;

9. Hear and examine the work report of the Secretary-General and examine the work of the Secretary-General;

10. Decide on other important matters.
